Patchworks for solo piano (1998).
I have always thought of a patchwork quilt as portraying a great variety of vignettes, each with their own unique story. Every scrap of fabric is combined to form a product rich in color and, oftentimes, in memories. My musical quilt is arranged around this same concept, that the peculiarities of each musical scrap would combine to form a rich tapestry of sound.
